We probably need to beat our Q1 figures for fy26 to get back on track quickly. That would help stem the bleeding, then with luck the other catalysts will have a positive effect. The radio silence from ggp post RNS would have me believe Shaun & Co. are having to work on the next move.

I think Shaun needs to be pressed on a few of those questions., it’s his answer that matters. But I think the main draw of the ASX is the index buying and pension funds. Let’s hope we see it soon as they are getting in cheap.

Where’s the good news..? Another 20% drop I’m remortgaging the house. 😅

I never would have agreed before but a £5 bid now would have me thinking.. it’s not what I wanted from ggp long term, however it would put an end to the rollercoaster.

If you compare it to a sticking plaster, sometimes it best to just rip it off. Shaun has done this by releasing the information. It’s done, the markets have reacted. What’s important now, is how we move forward from here, get some positive PR on the go and keep producing gold daily.

Is this the 1st time Shaun hasn’t done the rounds after results? Was usually a Proactive interview to follow. This has been a lesson to me, how quickly a company can go from positive forecasts to doubt and negative sentiment.

Is it a case, they just didn’t see that market reaction coming? In hindsight I’m sure they would have planned that RNS differently. Everything was perfect, gold price, full quarter production, 1st ASX quarter, it looked like a home run on every front. That’s why I never considered selling pre results, even though we trend to drop on results in recent years. I thought the previous production figures had broken that trend.

I’ve always felt Shaun has been honest and he delivered a massive deal for ggp in buying the farm. Tuesday was the first time I’ve heard him Shake! Every interview prior he has performed almost flawless. I’m not going to change my opinion on him yet. But I do want to see a positive reaction to this week.

You would think if an offer was planned it would come in soon, why wait and risk the share price recovering. I would love to question Shaun. Seems when all the information is pieced together, everyone was a winner except LTH’s. Shorts won, GDXJ won, Aussies won. I don’t believe in coincidence when it comes to money, if it looks like a set up, smells like a set up.. I always said GGP has leaks, every big event has proved that.

Shaun has the chance to ease any more jumping next week. He has to come out with a strong performance and get the positive information across. On this occasion, his honest approach to the RNS backfired. I’m sure plenty of CEO’s wouldn’t have been so forthright! Set a plan to target high grade material, get the low grade stockpiles phased out as best as possible and emphasise drilling and drilling results.

Everyone (positive or negative) had the thought that the Aussies want in cheap.. I couldn’t see a way for it to happen, more fool me. The RNS was an easy target! I hope Shaun wasn’t complicit in it.. but we’ll never know. It does feel like a planned attack on LSE holders and it worked to perfection.

Over 12hrs later, horrible day.. did Shaun purposely go conservative, did he just think it was the right think to do, who knows. Then the massive market reaction, it does seem extreme. The frustration for me is losing all market momentum and basically having to start again. I hope Shaun can dust himself down and come out strong, if that means changing a few plans or getting some good drill results out, get it done. This share is manipulated enough, without a dead news period until October!

Shaun and his team might need to have a rethink and get back on the front foot. I dont know if sitting back until the next quarter is the best option, but that was his plan for ggp, less rns’.

There is no doubt Shaun has his work cut out and his job became a bit more difficult today! I imagine he’s answering a lot of calls and messages today.

If no one listened to you, then maybe you need to question why? There will be a reason for that.

Do you think the massive drop on the ASX caught them off guard before the presentation? Maybe an explanation of him seeming a bit nervous and then going defensive. I’m sure it’s a lesson learned.

Does the ASX look foolish now with their closing price? I want to se where we finish, but it would be a massive kick in the stones if we are pulled down to match @ close.

As long as we don’t see the afternoon drop. I’d happily take a £3 finish and forget today ever happened! 🤣

The more you think about it, the more it looks like this was the chance to get the shares the ASX needs. A massive shockwave on an ok set of results. I’ve no issues with Shaun being conservative in fy26 figures, better to play it safe.

Atleast we now know a good set of result or outperform expectations and we jump 20-30%.
