Because CoC have already given Adani the nod think they have automatically become involved. Adani have not acquired the asset yet which is a positive.

The CoC could have asked the NCLT to reschedule the hearing to see if they can sort it out between themselves.

What we know for sure is MPL still have a chance at getting their asset back and thats a positive itself. Still looking forward to other news thats to land here about new opportunities with Marty involved. GLA

An out-of-court settlement would require all stakeholders (including the lenders and Adani) to agree to a compromise. If mutually agreed, the parties could formally withdraw their resolution before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) Mumbai.

Its done now, no point crying over why they didn't inform the markets. Look forward at whats to come here next.

Imo I think they will sort out an out of court settlement and have the hearing as a back up. Think we will have a blue day here as its currently NT to buy at 1.3p. GLA

Just have to think if there was no chance of MPL getting their asset back or out of court settlement then NCLT would not have rescheduled and would have been a rejection for mpl instead of delaying the matter further. Adani as many keep saying he is a billionaire would want to know where they stand too and wouldn't want to be stuck in legal battle for Karanja Terminal. So it is highly possible that an out of court settlement is being sorted but a hearing date for a later date will still be sorted in case they can't come to some kind of agreement imo.

Won't take long to reschedule, they managed to sort out a hearing within a few weeks after the last update.

If there was an out of court settlement it can't be mentioned in an rns as it requires discretion and proper legal procedures to make sure the agreement is legally binding.

Agree they should have notified the market earlier but the NCLT rescheduled the hearing, could be for many reasons but its all to still play for here. Just have to wait a little bit longer.

Tiger its just been rescheduled no decions have been made!

On 13 May 2026, Mercantile Ports & Logistics Limited (AIM: MPL) announced that it had formally challenged the decision of the Committee of Creditors approving the resolution plan relating to Karanja Terminal & Logistics Private Limited and that the National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai Bench had listed the matter for further hearing on 8 June 2026. The Company was informed that this hearing was to be rescheduled.

The Company is seeking a rescheduled date to be set as soon as practicable and will make a further announcement as soon as the rescheduled date is known.

The Company continues to maintain that the process surrounding the approval of the resolution plan has been fundamentally flawed and remains committed to pursuing all available legal remedies to protect shareholder interests and recover value for stakeholders.
