Of course.. agree. The only way to grow is to invest,. But one good thing is, while 2.5 mill isn't huge anounts for a listed company, they only spent 100k last year in operating costs, 60k year previous. So even if they did naff all bar let their current investments grow, they'd not go bust for near a decade lol

Regards the dilution, the amount which was passed at the AGM is a maximum they can grab should they need to. It doesn;t mean they will, or doesn;t mean they will take it all.. they aren't short of cash as things stand. Maybe it was passed just incase an amazing opportunity to grab some equity for very small dilution arises.. who knows, maybe up and above the 50p some mention haha :-)

Oh totally agree.. if it sells, I'm sure there will be some cash comes direct to MAFL.. but as with the sale of Toral in September 16, proceeds initially go to THC and what happens next is open to speculation. It doesn't matter to me though.. we own 49 percent of any cash THC have or assets they buy, and that value will be refected in our market cap.

It's a private company, so if they decided to issue a dividend, then MAFL would get their 49 percent share. There could be some money due for roles MAFL has played along this whole process, maybe as costs etc.. but I doubt they'll just go "here's your half of the sale money".. I'm sure the plan is to build THC up into a valuable company to sell on, or to go public one day, and we own half.

What would be a very interesting scenario.. someone once mentioned on here a while back.. would be if THC were evert to go public.. THC floating would mean .. BINGO for MAFL.

We will probably get some cash.. not sure how much is owed, and we can speculate. But the asset is owned by THC, and the cash will go to THC. This cash will then be used by THC to invest in more assets, with MAFL on the BoD and owning 49 percent. However, as a separate entity, MAFL needs working capital for investments outside of THC.

Probably not, but remember the money will go to THC initially, not MAFL. We own 49%.. but that doesn’t mean 49% of the sale cash will go direct into our bank for w/c.

Regards a small placing, IMO will happen if we blast up into the mid 20's to 30's.. They passed at the recent AGM to be able to raise up to a maximum �420k.. My guess is, saying as the CEO owns 19% of co.. they will want to have minimal dilution, and may take advantage of any highs to add some cash in the coffers and liquidity.. which the latter is needed.. the former not so much, as they have 2.5m is working capital already. I agree some PR would do wonders, but as Q says, maybe it needs a better story. IE how much the resource has in the ground “officially”. With a share such as MAFL with a tiny free float, when that news lands.. no PR will be needed! Just be patient.. it is coming.

They only have to look at Lundin's Neves Corvo mine, just 60 miles up the road from us in Portugal.. same type of deposit, metals Zinc etc including Indium. http://www.lundinmining.com/s/Neves-Corvo.asp Which according to 2017 revenue breakdown (see slide 6 of this presentation http://www.lundinmining.com/i/pdf/2017-11-06-presentation.pdf .. It produced 16% of their annual turnover of $1.4 billion. That's around $220 million of metals in sales this year from this nearby mine.

Whilst I guess it's possible all the report and upgrade could be released together, I think if MAFL knew the drill results for hole 5 they would be under obligation to RNS it would they not?

You will get a report on LS MS 05 (I think is last hole) then this data will go off to AGP Mineral Consultants of Canada who will be using the data to upgrade the resource.. that report should be here by year end.
