Shiner, I feel it would be fanciful for a small company such as JLP to assume it will have it all its own way and effectively name its price when dealing with the vast dumps owned by majors.
The majors have now woken up to the potentially huge extra line on their P&L accounts and we cannot automatically expect to pick dumps up for a song in future, nor get such high JV %s. We also cannot just assume that only our own scientists are capable of coming up with the winning formula. And let's not forget the possibility of headhunting.
We may well need to look at a mix of large and smaller dumps from different sizes of miners. And in any event I would have thought that size isn't the only factor involved. Older dumps including smaller dumps most likely contain the best %s of copper and this may well become evident from the testing being done on Cyprus. Maybe we should get our skates on

Forseti. I can fully understand why you might feel nervous at a 20p buy in having previously held at 2.5p.
My own average was 2.6p and having recently sold a load, my remaining shares are a free carry. But even though I have no intention to offload more at these prices, I still see plenty of upside although would not wish to accumulate now.

Suzy. Is it possible that the reason no other mines have been permitted, simply that being so determined to deny BEM the permit, the government position would be untenable to then grant other mines. Nothing else will be passed until Kallak is sorted one way or the other.
