Regret not buying these at 20p because I had funds tied up elsewhere. Like I said previously, it did not go to this value for small investors to double, triple or quadruple there money within a couple of days. It went to this value , quite possible for it to return to this value at a subsequent stage.
The institutions i.e. Fund Managers, Pension Funds, investment Banks pushed it from 20p to 40p to 60p and then momentarily to 80p, because they are big enough to buy, sell and hold, at their leisure. Rest assured, it will eventually return to 80p, but how long this will take, we don't know.
What we do know 80p was a value to which we were heading before the word " Coronavirus" was even invented.

It was in a better state than it will be soon. In other words this is going to go way lower than 60 p by Christmas.

Sooner rather than later

With Lloyds beginning a drop to 30p and below, I think I will be using the proceeds of selling PF to drop into lloyds and feel early next year they will be more than double their low.
The only problem is finding their low, I will not touch them above 20p. Good luck to PF shareholders, as you know I use to post on this BB like Stretchum does now.
I just feel any spike in the SP caused by the any extra sales in March will be negated by the prospect of a drop in Easter Sales and of course the prospect of a recession that will be confirmed later in the year. We must appreciate the spike in the SP to 45p earlier this year saw a drop to below 30p without the Coronavirus.

This is a real risk, it didn't drop to 20p and then trade at 80p within days for the hell of it.
Those institutions who sold at 20p know what they are doing, they are no mugs.

the problem is when will these events return? who would be holding these large events? when lockdowns end, the advice will be to keep things small scale.

Think we will see sub 20p because even when cinemas do open again 50% of regular punters will not see them as safe and will stay away from them for at least 6 months.
Other places like this include Restaurants, theatres and places like Hollywood Bowl.
To be honest, telling somebody it's safe to go to the cinema, will be about the same as telling people it's safe to book a holiday in Italy.

They remind me of Mike Ashley building up a 29.9% stake in Debenhams and having "evil ambitions." If anyone was going to buy PF they would have done so by now.

Ok if there is a "spike" in the SP like we saw this year to 45p, will it hold onto it? If it doesn't why did it not hold onto 45p and it went to 30p before the word coronavirus had been heard.
We could see a relief rally, but then we have the Pension deficit to deal with.

I have no intention of coming back in, because I feel after selling at 20p there are many companies out there that will double quicky. I regret not jumping into Marstons, Cineworld or First Group.
After 10 years of bad luck with PF, there is no reason why as little as 6 months good luck cannot bring what PF did not in 10 years. There is even the prospect in the current market of seeing one share double and you sell up and invest the proceeds in another which then doubles. Examples include ITV and lloyds. Finally, I really do not think PF is a takeover target because of the Pension deficit, when it was lower nobody was interested, why would they be interested now?
The company was in a better state earlier this year at 45p and a takeover of 70p would have done it and if anything, interest rates were going up. Now they will remain low for years and of course we have the oncoming recession in which the likes of ALdi and Lidl will do well, of course selling non PF products.

Hate to say it, but the rise from sub 20p was "designed" to draw in the next batch of punters in a possible drop to 15p. We should be under no illusions that whilst the sales of some products have increased, sales of others have fallen. We must factor in a poor Easter and going forward the recession that looms which will lead to a poor Christmas . This will all occur against the backdrop of a pension defecit that cannot be tackled with the low interest rates we are now going to see for years.

The 70p fall I think reflects a future recovery price, so I see it falling a lot lower than this. I wouldn't touch these at even 50p, although, rest assured these will recover strongly.

Sooner or later they will become "cousins in Shareprice value" as well as "cousins in former existence" put another way, Royal Mail SP is going below £1 and over the years the rest of it too!!!

I think we could see Stagecoach hit 25p where would that leave the FGP SP?

I think National Express will do well to fight of this attack, but will reveal the scale of the damage late on.

Can't see the jusficication in it going back up to 50p.
