Got approached by an ii who after originally investing after an agreed business plan introduced us to a US competitor to take over, helped strengthen the board, offered finance facilities etc etc.
All they wanted was continual update on performance and while that was going on they couldn't sell any shares
So my hypothesis is based on ACTUAL business experience

before the end game (taken private) you mention do you think the following could of occurred
1. Customer now shareholder got assurances face to face on a business plan to increase production before investing.
2. Said disasterman is now reporting regularly on the agreed business plan to new shareholder that has a very deep understanding of the mining industry so no hiding in Australia
3. Business plan has approach to Spanish banks to refinance at a normal rate rather than the extortionate current finance once production issues resolved

Sounds like material inventories are way down on many specialist metals including tin & tungsten no mention of copper though

I understand the frustration of the still invested that have lost a lot of paper money on this company I hope you can either sell up and offset against tax on other activities or just take it on the chin and say to yourself self c'est la vie I've made more than I've lost overall in my portfolio
