GW, my shares were in a Hargreaves Lansdown ISA. I had a message from them saying :
"As a result of the delisting, the company’s shares no longer meet the HMRC rules to be held within an ISA and must therefore be removed from your ISA.
In order to continue to hold these shares on our platform they will need to be moved into a Fund & Share Account. If you have a Fund & Share Account open by noon on Thursday 23 June 2022 then you are not required to take any further action. There is no charge for moving these shares. If you do not have a Fund & Share Account open with us you can open one online".
I'm not sure if I can trade with this account as we aren't there yet, but as far as I can tell there are no standing charges on this account. However, I still have an ISA and I'm not sure if a new customer would be eligible to just have one of these, but might be worth looking into.
Can't believe nobody's posted this yet?

Yes, very interesting question. Also led me to find this about debris left over from killed cancer cells ...

Me? Sold? Who said that? Must have been in a green box.
Anyway, it's not true, so just shows what depths some unscrupulous posters will go to. Even if I had sold it would be no guide to what anyone else should feel or do.
I imagne you're right Troaj, but I like to have a fallback plan.
Going by the 0DTT page there are plenty of unused forums where folks meet up for general dicussions. I had no idea - I don't get out much.
Should this forum disappear, see you all on WRES Gardening Nuns Facebook ?
https://www.facebook.com/WRESNUNS
If WRES goes under I'll take a big hit for sure, but it was my choice, and I will survive.
Whatever happens I will remember the posts of the good people on here when it mattered - health issues and losses ( pets and relatives). Think I would rather lose in their company than win in the gloaters'.
But it's not all over yet, so good luck to us all here.
At least this RNS won't send the SP down ; ))
Anyone got any thoughts on what this "alternative trading platform" might be ? And will it be allowed in SIPPs & ISA's ?
Thanks crumbs.
As c11 says, not a lot of money really, but IMO any deal involving a bit of cash would help the general perception of Scancell right now. However, I would be concerned if a deal meant the other party took complete control of development as the Biontech one appears to, for fear of it being left on the shelf.
Dreamy.
Re your 6:06 and "not sure where they got that from", it was in Friday's RNS.
Doesn't change your main points though. And while I am pretty confdent the funding will be announced shortly, until then it is slightly concerning.
I've not been fully following this discussion, so apologies if I've got the wrong end of the stick, but this Guardian piece appears to refer to the zika trial
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/feb/20/how-covid-created-a-vision-for-treating-disease
"It is just one example of how scientists are increasingly looking at how Covid treatments can help to treat other diseases. Trials are expected to be developed for other similar jabs against dengue, Zika and a whole host of pathogens"
And isn't the reference to funding having been received from Innovate UK significant ?
As I say, sorry if I'm misunderstanding.
Careful Ivans - you seem to be saying "good buying opportunity" lol.
Good luck with your health OMR.
I'm doing my best to focus on the positive comments from ICD in the 5th Jan RNS.
