Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Hi Konar - just wondering then, why you said it was an "obvious Scancell investor" ? Really not trying to stir things up, and definitely not wanting to prolong the debate, but I'm genuinely wondering if I'm missing something (it has been known!).
Quite, Wildforce. That's the phrase that made me believe it was a genuine poster. So quite possibly/probably this angle of the discussion is all over nothing.
BTW Bermuda, I was not suggesting a previous Scancell critic would post out of malice, just that they appear(ed) opportunistic with regard to making a few bob, so may have now changed tactic and see profit in good results. I realise I did not make that clear - too early in the morning for me !
Pleased that we have a different thread title now - a small thing but I feel more comfortable with it.
Thanks crumbs. Have to say, I took that particular post as genuine, largely because of the terminology used. But you are right, it could be some unscrupulous ****. In any case, the response by Patient 1 was one of thanks, so no harm done. It's good to have the issue raised though, but all the LSE posts I've read have been respectful so I doubt anyone on here has invaded the MacMillan forum. It may be the sort of thing one of the now absent Scancell haters might do. Their scruples were, let's say, questionable : )
Crumbs' 07:34 post exactly sums up my position on this. I don't see any problem in sharing a link to the MacMillan forum, but personally I will not use names or quote passages from it. Maybe "Patient 1" is the way to go. I can't really see any need for much debate either - the posts on there are quite clear.
Absolutely investors should not post on MacMillan for monetary gain, but where are these inappropriate posts? I can't see any.
Hopefully that will just be a formality, Bob. The very first paticipants on the trial take the biggest risk and deserve to have their bravery rewarded. This is all presuming it works of course, but that seems pretty much a given now.
Just my own thoughts, but the MacMillan forum is obviously a cathartic outlet for sufferers, so I don't see Scancell trying to censor it. That would be a slightly inhumane act IMO, and LD seems to be all about the patients.
You aren't the first Ivy ...

I've not posted here for ages, but still an avid reader, especially of late with so much positive news, so thanks for all the comments from clever people. And especially to Botski for the AGM recordding.
Scancell has never looked better !
Best wishes for your friend's daughter Debs.
Whether this is Scancells's trial or not, at the very least your post demonstrates that information on progress does indeed leak out of trials via patients and their families.
Here you go folks

Thanks for correcting me all. I sopped paying attention once the HP deal was done (and again once all the shenanigans of HP v the old management was over).
Turns out Softbank have, or are, selling on to Nvidia now.
No relevance to CC of course (YET?).
Well the university haven't updated their website ... https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/medicine/people/lindy.durrant
Then again, it is out of term time, so maybe not fully-staffed.
