I love that idea Hbob, but not sure if the Extremadura gov have specified that it must be used locally, at LP. Not unreasonable really. It could expedite the LP expansion perhaps.

It's all money we don't need to find for LP though, which means it should free some up for Regua.

Hopefully, when we get the news that it has been paid MM will tell us what it's earmarked for.

I resisted stating my opinion on the likelihod of winning the GC. For the record, I was fairly convinced by the arguments for, but didn't want to get my hopes up and be disappointed.

Not winning makes little difference to my overall confidence as there is so much else going on, or about to be. It's just a shame that another potential treatment may - may - be delayed. Or if one of the other parts of PBP with deep pockets steps in, it might even be expedited I suppose.

The way I see today's SP drop is that many of those who recently bought in and contributed to the rise will have done so on GC hopes or expectations and were most likely traders who would have sold when and if a win had given them a healthy profit, so all that has happened is that we have seen the inevitable drop a bit sooner.

I do think that Monday's RNS was worthy of a rise in itself though, so by rights we should see a little bounce.

WRES's end of financial year is 31st December cookie.

I believe a condition of the grant is that we are seen to be a reliable long-term employer, so it makes sense ti me that the cash would be given out when we have been producing at full, or almost full, pelt for 2 or 3 months.

Mogwhy - but it's not really a straight transfer is it - it involves selling the shares in your trading account and buying them in the ISA. So if you already have £25k cash in your ISA there is sufficient in there to do the buy. That's my understanding anyway. Been a while since I really thought about it to be fair.

I've always assumed we will need to have been in steady production with all the new kit for a "while" before we get the grant money.
