@hopeful44 my mistake in saying the closures were all happening at the same time.

All Beefeaters, Brewers Fayre etc are closing at the end of September. All restaurant staff are being made redundant as the reception staff will be serving the hotel guests.

Not a good move by Whitbread, in my opinion.
