Our live Investing Matters Podcast Special which took place at the Master Investor Show discussing 'How undervalued is the UK stock market?', has just been released. Listen here.
Quite, has AW not used the words "Cash Cow" in his interviews?? Yes, I get that he wants to expand but other mines aren't going away and they're not going to be delivering the infrastructure that BEN has overnight. Why not wait until the "Cash Cow" starts to deliver profit??
Not entirely happy but I still have confidence that this will be a great 2022 play!
Well whoever bought the 1.5 mill at 41p is currently about £122K down in a day - I guess they need to hold firm!!
Personally, a pull back was expected but once production rates are confirmed and the wash plant and rail link are all sorted then this will be multiples of where we are and Mr 1.5 million will be a happy bunny -
"Next year Rodney"
Morning all, I got back in with a few a couple of days ago at a slightly higher price to when I decided to exit but made a few bob elsewhere. The feel of the company seems a lot more positive now and a Paraytec sale must be on the cards so in it for the ride which I hope will be upwards as BRH still owes me a few quid.
Such are the vagaries of releasing an after hours RNS.
It may have been missed by short term traders this morning which may have just caused a spike which isn't always good. Anyone researching the company surely will look at their newsfeed anyway. Personally I think AW stressed in his earlier interview that Wednesday was the day and so he felt he wanted to release news on Weds - for good or bad.
I've just listened to that interview again - parts of it twice.
I'm surprised that no one on here or ad.fn has picked up on AW's very last sentence when he was describing how Investec was to be repaid.
He mentions a production figure of 30 million tonnes over the next 5 years!!!! $2 royalty per tonne = $60 million and Investec repaid - so I assume this is clean coal. That 'average' target seems mahusive!!!
I know that the wash plant only has capacity of 3.2 million per year but, nevertheless, unless I'm wrong this is one hell of a "cash cow" !!
