don't think Cav are selling... no TR1 and they are under 10% RRE in each fund.

do we really need the kind of investors who might be put off and think its expensive because the SP is £18 instead of £1.80 with the same mcap ?

key takeaway is that a deal of this kind of scale will happen at some point and RRE emerges out the other side a different beast on a whole new level with a significantly higher MCAP.... as we have seen before only one louder.

There are ways and means ... for example, RRE could easily offer a discounted future cash flow model where siccar point get 50% or more of the profit but RRE hold 100% liability until it’s paid off. Therefore no debt! RRE May need to put £200m or so down up front but that’s about it... and we have that in the petty cash box by the staff loos.

looks like a cheeky low ball but signals intent ... $1.2bn offered so AA not afraid to splash the cash.

with such a stellar transformational result from the first, and smallest drill, already booked then I think it's fair to say that with the current momentum and sentiment... a hit at Coro / 2nd drill could well push us up very nicely indeed and expedite the re-rate.

TD and initial results due in 2-3 weeks... 95% COS (same as 1st drill)

Plus... we have the full test results from Coho (1st drill success) and given they had to restrict test flow due to not expecting such a big hit and testing equipment not being up to the scale of the job... we can perhaps expect some interesting full results there too to help momentum.

we don't know its Cav & Mac tho... AA mentioned that Cav were done selling some time ago and we have not had any further TR1 from them to show that they have been reducing any more.... Cav were last reported at 10.96% and now RRE appears to be just under 10% of each fund they hold RRE in... which is where they would be if holding and maxed out and were pre Marathon re-rate.

Mac last seen at 3.97% on Sep 9th ... so could be selling a few still.

Plenty of big PI money sloshing about on big profits.... and plenty of appetite to buy as well.

It's Shell no ? ... and yes, they have signifcant capacity spare, it's close by and they are happy to take our gas but if Royston comes in as hoped then it will likely exceed Shell's capacity... one of those nice problems to have if and when we come to cross that bridge.
