RNS Number : 5485N Exillon Energy Plc 01 October 2012 Exillon Energy plc Drilling Update 1 October 2012 1 October 2012 - Exillon Energy plc, a London Premium listed independent oil producer with assets in two oil-rich regions of Russia, Timan-Pechora ("Exillon TP") and West Siberia ("Exillon WS"), is pleased to announce a drilling update. ETP IV - 2003 Well ETP IV - 2003 was spudded on 2nd May 2012 and drilled and cemented in 118 days on the central part of the ETP IV field. The well encountered the Lower Silurian reservoir at 3,273 metres, confirming 8.6 metres of effective net oil pay within the reservoir. Due to the angled trajectory of the well bore, this exposed 13.3 metres of effective net oil pay for production. The well flowed water-free oil to the surface with a flow rate of 465 bbl/day. Well logging and testing results support our geological understanding of the ETP IV field. The well was drilled 0.8 km west of Pad 1, and is now connected to our existing production facilities, and the drilling rig has now spudded Well ETP IV - 3000 targeting the southern part of the ETP IV field. Good to see your back! You been on hols somewhere?
Welcome aboard! As you know only recently invested myself but after reading for hours on end all is looking good :)
I see what you mean. This is definately being played for something but what for who knows. I would like to think that this will start to push up soon as the fundamentals are sound. Im happy to sit and wait and see how it plays out medium to long term. This board certainly has been quiet last couple of weeks!
This seems to be being played big time. All the AT trades broken down in to small chunks. Or am I wrong... is there people out there that really sell 17 shares at a time lol.
Most oil stocks down today.
Acquisition of LLC VenlockNeft 10 September 2012 10 September 2012 - Exillon Energy plc, a London Premium listed independent oil producer with assets in two oil-rich regions of Russia, Timan-Pechora ("Exillon TP") and West Siberia ("Exillon WS"), is pleased to announce it has secured a 100% interest in LLC VenlockNeft ("Venlock") for a total consideration of approximately US$2.5 million. Venlock owns four Exploration, Appraisal and Production licenses in Timan-Pechora. Two of these licences lie immediately to the south of our existing ETP II, ETP IV and ETP V fields, adjacent to our existing oil production infrastructure. These two contiguous licences cover an area of 432 km², and expire in 2031 and 2032. Another two licences have a total area of 643 km². These also expire in 2031 and 2032, and are located approximately 600 km to the south of Exillon TP. All four licences are covered with 2D seismic, and have been audited according to the Russian classification of reserves. The initial assessment of cumulative recoverable reserves and resources across nine prospective structures was 160 mm bbl (mostly in the Russian "C3" category). One of these structures was tested by Venlock in 2009 with a well that flowed 260 bbl/day naturally to surface. Our existing seven Exillon TP fields cover an area of approximately 344 km². The new licences add a further 1,075 km² of prospective areas, more than quadrupling the total area of Exillon TP to 1,419 km². A map illustrating the location of the Venlock licences is attached to this link. http://www.rns-pdf.londonstockexchange.com/rns/8485L_1-2012-9-10.pdf
