I'm new to this board. I also took a modest position, after the investor presentation earlier this week. Quite some upside potential if coal prices increase but even if prices remain depressed, with their low cost and ample cash position they should be in a good position. I understood the situation re. Transnet should improve further. I also like Yancoal but found the valuation of Thungela even more compelling for rebounding.

Hi, thanks for your suggestion. I just came over from the AEP message board. I have no holdings in R.E.A. To me the situation with the large debt and debt restructuring is quite complicated. Also noted a major shareholding decreasing its position. Do I miss something? Would the board have any insights? I personally prefer a company which is so much dependent on the price of a commodity, with a strong cash position so I think i'll give this a pass. Wishing you all the best though!

Indeed. I just listened in to the H1 2025 call and Jamie sounded quite confident. I understood they have a good backlog , Reko Diq is progressing well, the MSALabs are progressing well. Market did not respond extremely well, but I'm happy to at least hold. Good luck to all longs!

I think interim results are published around 20th of August if they follow similar reporting schedule as last year. Indeed and I would also be interested their confirmation of their realised profit on the NWR shares. Personally, I think it would have been a real fiasco if they would have continued the bidding war. Also would be interesting to learn if they have already other acquisition targets in mind. They could than also apply their lessons learned (to me it is not clear whether the breakup fee was not set too low, thus giving Kinterra at all a chance. Perhaps because of ASX regulations, not sure.). GLTA longs!

The SP had a nice uptick today (now at 924p). I first thought because of increase of palm oil price today. Or does the appointment of a new broker indicate new action? Hi, I'm a newbie to this board and long GKP (but with a relatively minor position). As far as I understood from below article, there are not only issues between Baghdad and KRG to sort out, but also certain issues in Ankara related to the Presidential Administration, which may provide further explanation on why the delays. There is also a reference to an alternative pipeline from Kirkuk through Syria bypassing Turkey, but even if that would work out, I'm not sure that would be helpful for Kurdistan oil producers. Seems anyway long term. GLTA.
