This is AIM, highly manipulated and loosely regulated. The 100%+ rise was forced by professional pump and dump merchants who work as a team.

However, this company is worth considerably more now than it was 4 days ago, and the news of the massive collaboration will have increased its value by considerably more than just the 1p we see since pre-news.

It won't make 15p today, or even this week, but it will get there eventually and more.

36800, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said it reviewed the company’s drilling programme for exploration and its appraisal of 12 wells in the Kaieteur Block and had concluded that there is no requirement for an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). This decision was made prior to Exxon's withdrawal from Kaieteur later that September. Their stakes were transferred to Ratio Guyana Limited and Cataleya Energy Limited, which originally held the exploration licenses. Westmount holds approximately 5.26% of the issued share capital of Cataleya Energy.

Exxon won't be drilling the actual Kaieter block, but probably very nearby. Of course, the oil is no respecter of man's boundaries or licence blocks, and it's quite possible that oil systems are linked. A tieback agreement would work well for Cataleya Energy, Exxon and Hess if further discoveries are made within a reasonable distance.

Very interesting times for WTE with interests in two very active companies in the Falklands and Guyana.
