LONDON (Alliance News) - W Resources PLC Thursday said it has found positive results from its current exploration programme at its Tarouca tungsten and tin mines in Portugal.
The Tungsten exploration and development company, with operations in Spain and Portugal, said the 48 kilometre squared study found grades including 2.5%, 5.8% and 9.4% tungsten trioxide in grab sampling and returned 7.2 metres of 0.86% tungsten trioxide in trenches.
W Resources said 250 samples assayed were in excess of 0.3% tungsten trioxide.
The company said with the new information it has defined a 1,500 metre drilling programme which will commence in the first quarter 2014.
W Resources shares were up 1.9% to 1.10 pence Thursday.
