Versarien And Haydale Strike Agreement On Graphene Product Development

Mon, 13th Jul 2015 07:02

LONDON (Alliance News) - AIM-listed companies Versarien PLC and Haydale Graphene Industries PLC on Monday said they have signed a collaboration deal under which the pair will work on developing their respective graphene-based product portfolios.

The two will work together to create solutions for the manufacturing and functionalisation of graphene on a large scale suitable for mass-produced commercial applications, the two companies said.

No financial details were provided on the deal.

"We believe this to be a significant step forward. We will be working together with Haydale to best achieve the great global opportunity we have in front of both of us in the form of graphene," said Neill Ricketts, Versarien's chief executive.

"It is important we have a credible graphene presence to take to a global market that is still evaluating the materials available before embarking on procurement of commercial volumes," said Haydale chief executive Ray Gibbs.
