Oxford BioMedica PLC - Oxford, England-based gene and cell therapy company - Raises GBP80.0 million through placing of 9.9 million shares at a price of 810 pence per share.
Peel Hunt LLP and WG Partners LLP are acting as joint bookrunners.
Proceeds from the raise will go towards funding the company's existing capital requirements and partly fund the acquisition of an 80% ownership interest in the new company Oxford BioMedica Solutions LLC for USD175 million.
