UK to launch weekly tenders of 12-month T-bills

LONDON, May ​5 (Reuters) - ⁠Britain's finance ​ministry and the country's ​Debt ‌Management Office ⁠said on Tuesday ⁠they ​will introduce weekly tenders of T-bills at ​around ‌the 12-month maturity point by the end ​of the ‌2026/27 financial year.

The Treasury and ‌the DMO, which launched a consultation ​on expanding the T-bill market ‌in January, also said a ⁠standing repo ⁠facility for ‌T-bills would be ​established ​in ‌2026/27.
