LONDON (Alliance News) - Trinity Exploration & Production PLC Thursday said it has commenced drilling operations at its TGAL-1 exploration well, offshore Trinidad.
The oil and gas exploration and development company with operations in Trinidad and Tobago, said the well will be drilled to 6,500 feet in order to test nine stacked reservoir sands which offer the potential for large reserves.
The company said the well is targeting resources of 32 million barrels with a chance of success estimated at 64% in each of the primary reservoirs and is expected to take 30 days to drill.
Trinity Exploration shares were up 1.6% to 114.25 pence Thursday.
