Trikona Trinity Capital Sells Investment In DB Hospital Private

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Trikona Trinity Capital PLC (TRC.LN) Tuesday announces the sale of its investment in DB Hospitality Private Limited which is held through one of the Company's Mauritian wholly-owned subsidiaries. MAIN FACTS: -The subsidiary has Tuesday entered into a sale and purchase agreement. -The consideration amounts to the $ equivalent of INR1,000.2 million, or GBP14.7 million at current exchange rates. -The subsidiary acquired the holding in DBH in two tranches in December 2006 and January 2008 for a total consideration of GBP12.2 million and therefore a profit on investment of approximately GBP 2.5 million is expected to be realized. -In the Company's Interim Results as at Sep. 30, 2009, the carrying value of the investment in DBH was GBP10.6 million. -Shares at 1153 GMTdown 0.25 pence, or 1.30%, at 19.0 pence. -By Iain Packham, Dow Jones Newswires; 44-20-7842-9269; iain.packham@dowjones.com (END) Dow Jones Newswires June 22, 2010 07:54 ET (11:54 GMT)
