TP Group Awarded GBP1 Million Device Order From UK Ministry Of Defence

Tue, 17th Sep 2019 13:39

(Alliance News) - TP Group PLC said Tuesday it has secured a new order worth GBP1 million from the UK Ministry of Defence for the supply of oxygen generating devices.

The order is for 750 multi-purpose oxygen generators, supplemental to the engineering services firm's other, larger systems which TP Group currently supplies to the MoD. These devices will be delivered to the Royal Navy in the fourth quarter of 2019.

This order is part of the estimated GBP22 million framework contract first entered into by TP and the MoD in April 2017, for the management of equipment availability and providing spares for air purification systems.

"We are very pleased to see a further significant order materialise from our long-standing framework agreement with the MoD. This latest drawdown highlights the enduring value of these arrangements and further illustrates how the group provides ancillary solutions alongside major systems orders, providing an all-round service to our key customers," said Chief Executive Officer Phil Cartmell.

Shares in TP Group remained flat at 6.70 pence on Tuesday.
