Thruvision secures first UK screening subscription sales

Thu, 12th Feb 2026 14:19

(Sharecast News) - Thruvision Group said on Thursday that it has secured its first UK subscription sales under its newly launched 'screening-as-a-service' model, marking a milestone in the company's shift towards more flexible procurement options.

The AIM-traded provider of walk-through security technology introduced the subscription-based offering in November last year.

It said the model enabled customers to access Thruvision's screening systems, including support and training, for a fixed monthly fee, removing the need for significant upfront capital expenditure and allowing organisations to deploy the technology more quickly and cost-effectively.

The firm said the initial orders demonstrated growing demand in the UK market for flexible commercial arrangements and validated its decision to broaden its sales approach beyond traditional equipment purchases.

"We are delighted to secure our first UK subscription sales under the screening-as-a-service model," said chief executive Victoria Balchin.

"This milestone highlights clear market demand for a more flexible and accessible route to deploying our technology and reinforces our decision to expand our commercial offering.

"By removing the requirement for upfront investment, we are broadening access to Thruvision's proven screening capability to a wider range of organisations to enhance their security infrastructure."

At 1029 GMT, shares in Thruvision Group were up 1.89% at 0.97p.
