Fri, 19th Aug 2011 16:20
Thor Mining's Norm Gardner has resigned from his position as a non-executive director of the Australia-focused exploration company with immediate effect. The reason for Gardner's resignation is attributed to his wish to focus his time on Western Desert Resources, where he is managing director. The move sent the share price fall 9.26% to 1.23p. "Norm Gardner has been influential in helping set the direction for Thor during the past 3 years, and his contribution has been valuable," chairman Mick Billing said. "We are pleased to retain an ongoing contribution to our board from Mr. Mick Ashton who is also a director of Western Desert, our largest shareholder."NR Thor Energy
