Tharisa Appoints NWS Infrastructure Manager As Non-Executive Director

(Alliance News) - Tharisa PLC said Thursday that Non-Executive Director Julia Hu has resigned as a non-executive director with immediate effect, after nine months in the role.

At the same time, the miner announced the appointment of Vanessa Chu as non-executive director. Chu is currently senior manager of NWS Infrastructure Management Ltd, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-listed NWS Holdings, diversified industries group company which holds a 15% stake in Tharisa.

Shares in Tharisa closed 0.8% higher at 80.60 pence in London, while its Johannesburg shares were 2.5% lower at ZAR15.85 on Thursday.
