(Alliance News) - Ted Baker PLC on Monday said it has received a third takeover offer from Sycamore Partners Management LP.
The London-based clothing retailer is evaluating the "improved proposal from Sycamore," it said, having launched a formal sales process in agreement with the UK Takeover Panel.
"Since Sycamore's announcement of a possible offer for Ted Baker, the company has also received other unsolicited third party bid interest in relation to the company," Ted Baker added.
The company repeated its previous statements that it is focusing on maximising value for shareholders when considering potential takeovers.
Ted Baker shares were 11% higher at 141.80 pence each in London on Monday morning.
