Shares in Oxford BioMedica dropped after interim results from a Phase III study of the gene therapy company's cancer vaccine TroVax did not show a 'significant' survival advantage compared to placebo in the total population.'Although I am disappointed that the trial did not meet its primary endpoint, I believe that TroVax is still of potential benefit to patients with cancer and I hope further studies will be initiated with more refined target populations,' said the Principal UK Investigator for the study, Professor Robert Hawkins of the Christie Hospital in Manchester.Education IT specialist RM said trading so far this year has been in line with expectations.
