Surface Transforms Secures GBP400,000 Brake Disc Supply Contract

(Alliance News) - Surface Transforms PLC on Thursday said it has been selected as a tier one supplier of a carbon ceramic brake disc to an undisclosed automotive company.

The brake discs manufacturer said the new order will generate sales revenue of GBP400,000 and is expected to be delivered during the reminder part of 2019.

"We are delighted to win this contract with a new customer for the company," said Chief Executive Kevin Johnson.

"We regard it as a further reference point for our technology and hope that this can be the foundation of a future relationship with this valued and potentially important customer," added Johnson.

Surface Transforms shares were trading 4.7% higher in London on Thursday at 24.60 pence each.
