(Alliance News) - Supermarket Income REIT PLC on Friday said it has increased the target size of a share issue after seeing a "strong level of support".
The grocery property investor said the size of the share issue will now be GBP1398 million, up from the GBP100 million it initially planned.
"Following a strong level of support from investors during the marketing roadshow, it has been decided to increase the target size of the issue," the company explained.
"The decision to upsize has been made after careful consideration by the board and reflects the possibility of acquiring additional assets."
Shares in the company were 0.5% lower at 106.00 pence each in London on Friday afternoon.
