STOCKS NEWS EUROPE-UK small caps drop 1.8 percent mid-session

The FTSE Small Cap index and the FTSE AIM All Shareindex suffer respective falls of 1.8 percent and 1.4percent, outperforming a 2.4 percent drop from the midcaps.

British carrier Flybe advances 2.2 percent aftersaying costs savings are to exceed its target.

AIM-listed mobile technology firm 2ergo slides morethan 23 percent, extending falls from the previous session whenit said it was unable to finalise a fund raising option whichhad been expected to close this week.
