(Alliance News) - Springfield Properties PLC on Monday said it has appointed Colin Rae as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Rae was most recently an executive development director at Places for People, a property management firm.
He also had project management experience with The EDI Group Ltd, a property company that is wholly-owned by the City of Edinburgh Council.
Springfield Properties Executive Chair Sandy Adam said: "We are very pleased to welcome Rae to the board of Springfield. He brings considerable industry experience and expertise in building large-scale development and regeneration projects across Scotland and the wider UK.
"Springfield has made great strides since listing on AIM in 2017 and the appointment of Rae compliments the skills of our existing directors, strengthening the board to reflect the enhanced scale of the business today and our plans for continued growth."
Shares in Springfield closed 1.2% higher at 107.29 pence each in London on Monday.
