Small caps round-up: Tri-Star

Mining company Tri-Star has entered into an agreement with a Turkish contractor to undertake a 17-hole diamond drilling programme of the company's Goynuk antimony mine. Shares in Omega Diagnostics, which specialises in the diagnosis of diseases such as syphilis and TB, soared 16% after it reported a turnover rise 15% from last year. For the half year to 30 September, turnover rose to £3.3m from £2.87m previously, whilst trading remains in line with management expectations.
