John Menzies PLC, up 8.2% at 316.02 pence, 12-month range 98.00p-365.65p. Wider travel sector rises on promising read-across from budget carrier Ryanair Holdings PLC. In addition, aviation services and cargo handling business gets boost from figures by Heathrow Airport which shows cargo volumes improved 21% annually in first half of 2021, though down 18% from pre-pandemic levels.

On the Beach Group PLC up 3.4% at 305.00 pence, 12-month range 200.50p-517.00p. Also boosted by Ryanair's statement for its first quarter ended June 30. For the second quarter, Ryanair says it has seen bookings recover amid the rollout of the EU Digital Covid Certificate. Ryanair shares were up 3.9%.

HSS Hire Group PLC, down 7.5% at 18.50p, 12-month range 9.50p-25.00p. Gives up gains from previous week, when it rose 7.5%. Stock had risen 5.3% on Friday.
