Skillcast names Richard Steele as CFO

(Sharecast News) - E-learning provider Skillcast Group has tapped Richard Steele for the role of chief financial officer, with effect from 11 May.

Skillcast said on Tuesday that Steele, the former CFO of Mind Gym, will join the group following the publication of its final results for the year ended 31 December 2021, which were set to be published on 10 May.

He will replace the current part-time incumbent, Chris Backhouse, who will stand down from the board, and as CFO, but will continue to provide finance services to Skillcast for an undisclosed period of time as part of Skillcast's contract with Enterprise FD as part of an effort to ensure a smooth transition of the role.

As of 1100 BST, Skillcast shares were up 3.91% at 22.86p.
