Shell restarting unit at Scotford facility -community line

July 12 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell Plc isrestarting a unit at its Scotford facility near Edmonton,Alberta, the company said in a message on a communityinformation line on Friday.

The restart may result in intermittent flaring over the next24 hours and there was no material impact on production, Shellsaid.

The company runs a 255,000-barrel-per-day (bpd) oil sandsupgrader facility and a 100,000 bpd refinery at Scotford. (Reporting by Shruti Chaturvedi in Bangalore; Editing by GeraldE. McCormick)
