(Alliance News) - Shearwater Group PLC on Thursday said its subsidiary Brookcourt Solutions has secured a three-year contract - worth GBP8.5 million in aggregate - from an undisclosed FTSE 100-listed telecommunications company.
The cyber security software company said Brookcourt Solutions will deliver bespoke managed support services around an advanced monitoring solution, which forms a key function within the organisation's global mobile infrastructure.
The contract was initially scheduled for one-year and has now been increased to three years in duration, Shearwater noted.
"This contract win once again highlights the robustness of Brookcourt's technical solutions in maintaining mission-critical infrastructure, and the strength of our relationships with our technology partners, who have been instrumental in supporting the delivery of this opportunity," said Chief Executive Phil Higgins.
Shearwater shares were trading 5.5% higher in London on Thursday at 166.10 pence each.
