SeaEnergy's Return To Scene Wins Contract For Dounreay Nuclear Plant

Thu, 24th Sep 2015 08:16

LONDON (Alliance News) - SeaEnergy PLC on Thursday said its Return to Scene Ltd subsidiary has won a contract to provide a proof of concept technical photographic survey to Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd as part of the decommissioning of the nuclear power plant at the site in the Scottish Highlands.

SeaEnergy, which provides strategic and technical advice and products to the oil and gas, renewable energy and other industries, said its R2S Visual Asset Management system will be used to provide the survey data. The team is on site and the project is expected to be delivered by mid-October.

"Having proven the value of R2S within oil and gas, another industry comprising complex infrastructure and challenging operational environments, we are confident that this proof of concept project will demonstrate efficiencies in cost and time and improved collaboration for nuclear too," said SeaEnergy Chief Executive John Aldersey-Williams.

Shares in SeaEnergy were flat at 5.75 pence on Thursday.
