Ryanair passengers climb while BA stalls

British Airways' total passengers carried fell 3.4% to 2.34m in November. Passenger load factor rose by 1.5 points versus last year, to 75.9%. Traffic comprised a 1.7% decrease in premium traffic and a 4.8% decrease in non-premium traffic. "Volumes and yields in non-premium and short haul premium are stable. However, long haul premium is showing signs of improvement with volumes above the levels of last year and yields improving," it said.Ryanair, meanwhile, reported passenger traffic rose 15% to 4.96m passengers last month.
