Russia's Rosneft extends CEO Sechin's contract for 5 years

MOSCOW, May 5 (Reuters) - Russia's Rosneft said onTuesday it had extended the contract of its Chief Executive IgorSechin for five years.

Sechin, a former deputy prime minister, has held hisposition at Rosneft since 2012. Rosneft is the world's toplisted oil producer by output. It is under Western sanctions dueto Moscow's role in the Ukraine conflict. (Reporting by Katya Golubkova; editing by Alexander Winning)
