Revenues at Electrocomponents jump

Distributor Electrocomponents said it has seen significantly increased levels of customer activity as it reported a 24% jump in first-quarter revenues.During the first quarter, the International business grew by around 30% and the UK by around 12%. Within the International business Continental Europe advanced by around 22%, North America by around 43% and Asia Pacific by around 30%."The new financial year has got off to a healthy start across all our markets," chief executive Ian Mason said.
