Tue, 03rd Dec 2019 15:21

(Alliance News) - Insurance investor Randall & Quilter Investment Holdings Ltd on Tuesday announced Executive Director Mark Langridge will be leaving the board.

Langridge will step down on December 13, though he will stay on in an executive role on a part-time basis "for the foreseeable future", advising on claims and reinsurance.

Chair Ken Randall said: "I am grateful to Mark for his years of valuable contribution to the development of the group and especially for his leadership of our legacy business.

"He has a deep understanding of the particular challenges involved in managing claims exposures and related reinsurance protections arising from long tail casualty business and I am therefore very pleased that he has agreed to continue working with us on a part time basis going forward."

Shares in the company were 4.2% lower on Tuesday at a price of 183.08 pence each.
