LONDON (Alliance News) - Primary Health Properties PLC Monday said it has agreed to provide GBP18.5 million in forward funding to the Watkin Jones Group for the development of a health centre in Chester city centre.

Watkin Jones is a construction and development company headquartered in Wales.

The scheme, which will be fully let on a single lease to GP's for 25 years, will provide integrated healthcare facilities and accommodate four GP practices.

The centre is currently under construction and should be complete by the end of the year. Primary Health Properties didn't say what holding it will have in the development as a result of its investment.

The stock was trading at 363.75 pence Monday morning, down 6.25 pence or 1.7%.
