LONDON (Alliance News) - Prairie Mining Ltd on Wednesday said it has made a series of steps on the permitting process for the Lublin coal project in Poland.

Prairie said a deposit development plan has been completed for the project, and an application for an environmental consent decision has been submitted.

Local land amendments have formally started with municipal authorities, and the applications to secure a power grid connection for the mine site have commenced, the company said.

Prairie said it remains on track to make a formal mining concession application for the project in the first half of 2017.

Shares in Prairie were untraded on Wednesday, having last traded at 8.12 pence.
