Pound Falls Against Most Majors Ahead Of UK Manufacturing PMI

BRUSSELS (Alliance News) - The Markit/CIPS UK manufacturing PMI for December and British Bankers Association's mortgage approvals for November are due at 4:30 am ET Monday. Ahead of these reports, the pound showed mixed trading against its major rivals. While the pound declined against the franc, yen and the euro, it climbed against the greenback.

The pound was worth 1.4759 against the greenback, 0.7397 against the euro, 175.67 against the yen and 1.4688 against the franc as of 4:25 am ET.
