Persimmon appoints outgoing Land Securities COO O'Shea to board

(Alliance News) - Persimmon PLC on Monday said it has appointed the outgoing Land Securities Group PLC Chief Operating Officer, Colette O'Shea, to its board.

York-based housebuilder Persimmon said O'Shea will join its board as non-executive director on May 1, after leaving the role of COO at London-based commercial property developer Land Securities at the end of March.

Persimmon Chair Roger Devlin said: "Colette has a wealth of property market investment and development expertise gained in a twenty year career with one of the UK's leading real estate businesses."

Persimmon shares were 1.8% lower at 1,216.00 pence each in London on Monday afternoon, while Land Securities shares fell 2.7% to 612.60p each.
