(Alliance News) - Gift card and voucher firm Park Group PLC on Tuesday said 22% of its shareholders rejected a proposal to change the company's name.
The company proposed change its name to Appreciate Group, the motion received the support of 78% of its shareholders.
Nevertheless, the firm said it "will engage directly" with those that rejected the motion.
The company also received shareholder opposition to a motion proposing the approval of the remuneration report of its directors. The motion was passed with three-quarters of the votes in favour but Park Group added it will engage with the 25% who did not back the resolution.
All other proposals "were duly passed".
Shares in the company closed 0.2% higher at 53.10 pence each in London on Tuesday.
