(Alliance News) - Origin Enterprises PLC on Thursday named Helen Kirkpatrick as an independent non-executive director, effective immediately.
Origin is a Dublin-based agri-services group providing specialist on-farm agronomy services and the supply of crop technologies and inputs.
Kirkpatrick has served as a board member in public, private and not for profit companies operating nationally and internationally over the past 20 years.
Most recently, Kirkpatrick has been a non-executive director at Kingspan Group PLC, UTV Media/Wireless Group PLC and agri-food business Dale Farm Co-operative.
Kirkpatrick currently sits on the board of NTR PLC and a number of technology development companies.
Chair Rose Hynes said: "As part of our ongoing evaluation of board composition and to ensure Origin continues to maintain an appropriate range and balance of skills, diversity and experience at board level, we undertook a comprehensive recruitment process for this appointment.

Origin Enterprises shares were un-traded at EUR3.40 each in London on Thursday morning.
