An ORA Capital Partners non-exec has invested more than £15,000 in the company. James Ede-Golightly bought 19,176 shares for his SIPP at 80p each. This takes his stake in AIM-quoted ORA to 199,176 shares. Cambridge graduate Ede-Golightly is a former analyst with Merrill Lynch and Commerzbank. ORA is an investment company specialising in taking significant stakes in developing companies. It has developed five main businesses: Nanoco, Oxford Advanced Surfaces, Tissue Regenix, Oxford Nutrascience and Obtala Resources. All of these are quoted on AIM. ORA also has a stake in broker Novum Securities. ORA reported a fall in interim profit from £22.2m to £11.5m in the six months to July 2010.
