LONDON (Alliance News) - Specialist agricultural and distribution business NWF Group PLC Tuesday said it finally acquired the Staffordshire-based animal-feed manufacturer SC Feeds Ltd for a total of GBP6.56 million, after issuing less shares than previously expected.
NWF Group said on December 3, 2013, that the total consideration for the acquisition comprised an initial consideration of GBP6.0 million in cash, and up to GBP0.75 million to be satisfied by the issue of new NWF shares.
However NWF said Tuesday that it has now reached agreement with the vendors of SC Feeds that the final tranche of consideration payable in NWF shares will be GBP0.56 million, bringing the total acquisitive costs to GBP6.56 million.
Shares in NWF were trading at 147.56 pence Tuesday early afternoon, down 0.6%.
