NextEnergy Solar Fund acquires three plants

(ShareCast News) - NextEnergy Solar Fund has signed contracts to acquire three plants with capacity of 18 megawatt peak and an investment value of £18.1m.The company said a share purchase agreement has been exchanged to acquire the 8MW peak Ellough Solar 2 plant, which will be an extension of its Ellough plant.In addition, share purchase agreements have been exchanged to acquire the 4.99MW peak Decoy plant and the 4.99MW peak Hall Farm plant.NextEnergy said that since announcing its capital raise of £38.8m on 24 September, it has acquired six solar power plants totalling 36.3MW peak with an investment value of £40.2m.At 1430 GMT, shares in the company were up 0.5% at 103.02p.
